Introduction
The University of Turin, with over six centuries of history, is one of the oldest universities in Italy.
Today, it presents itself as an ecosystem consisting of 7 large educational centres, libraries, archives, university museums, a botanical garden and a large community of over 90,000 people present in the 120 sites spread across the Metropolitan City of Turin, the provinces of Asti, Biella, Cuneo and Aosta.

These are the key words that lead all the University’s activities and have inspired UniTo’s Strategic Plan 2021-2026.

It means constantly increasing the dialogue with the local area, institutions and companies, disseminating research results also through scientific disclosure, disseminational and cultural initiatives.
Responsibility
It encloses the principles that inspire UniTo’s projection of the future and lead its activities. A single great value that the University has chosen to describe its identity is a value that unites the people of the community and represents the foundation of the University’s choices and actions.

UniTo remains among the best Italian universities internationally in terms of teaching and research. UniTo has also improved, or maintained, its ranking in almost all international rankings.
